"Bad" Drawing

1. Create a blog post under the title: "Bad" Drawing, with four images from a sketchbook that contain four of the following five elements:

a. Deformation of the figure
b. Art resource
c. Non-art resource
d. Fantastic content
e. Irreverent content

2. Learning Objective
Students will be able to:

• Explain "Bad" Painting, the American figurative art movement in the 1970's.
• Organize their own artworks to create a meaning in the historical context.
  
• Examine drawings from various perspectives other than technical sophistication.
  
• Optimize photos of their drawings using Microsoft Paint Tool.
  
• Create a blog post with texts and images on a blog in a timely manner.
  

Producing a blog post with meaningful contents during a two-hour lab time. Students bring in at least two images ideally in jpeg or modify them in MS Paint Tool. For the rest, they draw on the spot and scan the drawings or take a mobile photo of what they just create. It would be fun to draw "deformation of the figure," "fantastic" (as in Mermaid or Unicorn or Harry Potter) or "irreverent content" and be able to see what other students are drawing.
